iTunes Skipping Apple Music Songs [solved]

Signing In and Out DOES NOT solve the problem. Sometimes it does for about 5 songs and then it starts right back up. Deauthorizing the computer DOES NOT solve the problem, nor does switching WiFi or rebooting the computer.

How about a REAL solution or even a real answer Apple!!!!!!!

I have this same issue. Apple music on my macbook pro will not play any songs in my apple music library or on their "browse" new apple music page.

I have tried deauthorizing, signing out, restarting, about a million times.

I've updated my OS, etc.

Apple music works fine on my phone.

THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE FOR A PAID SERVICE, WHAT DO WE DO APPLE???

Logging out and in does NOT work. iTunes has been skipping entire playlists since I started using Apple Music. In the past, syncing my iPhone to the laptop fixed it, but the problem would just reappear a few weeks later. This time, however, syncing did not work. Half of my songs won't ******* play now. Getting close to ditching Apple because of **** like this.

This is not a solved issue. Still happening. I've tried all of the suggestions and I still cannot listen to Apple music without it skipping through songs or sometimes not playing at all.

I have had this issue for a week now. I have moved to talking to apple on the phone and have a case number working through their troubleshooting system with their engineers at this point, still no resolution, but it is an issue on their end.

They are still trouble shooting it with me but think it's a problem on their server end. Their engineers are looking at it and we are talking again Thursday. I will update this board when it is resolved.

Apple was able to resolve this skipping songs issue for me today. It was only happening on my macbook pro and we went in and added full permissions to my user profile, we also deleted some cookies related to itunes. This is not something I can relay here step by step, but they were very helpful in walking me through it on the phone. I hope this helps someone out there!

I have the same problem. I can listen to albums that have been downloaded onto my system but not if I don't download. I've signed out/in a number of times. Infuriating. It's been recurring for months for me, and finally I'm frustrated enough to look into it.

I called Apple and they guided me through removing the iTunes cache on my Mac. Didn't take long and it solved the problem. Here's a guide to doing so for other reasons. Skip the delete album covers part, just log out, quit, remove your cache, then log in again. Worked for me.

Had this problem for a while but solved it last week. Please try to sign out of iCloud in the System Preferences (not just in iTunes.) It might help to reboot before signing in, but can't be sure that's necessary. Then sign back in to iCloud in the System Preferences. After that go back to iTunes and sign in if necessary.

This still hasn't been resolved... What is going on? I just came over from Pandora 3 weeks ago, this is making me think I chose POORLY!

Also tried re-authorising but it still skips. One or two songs play okay. Any other solutions?

What was their explanation?
