Safari displaying weird characters

Hi,

I have a problem with Safari. On "random" (I am sure not random, but random for me) pages it displays texts with strange characters (see image). It should be an English text. When I copy the text and past anywhere it will be a normal English text. Any idea what happens?

OSX: High Sierra 10.13.1

Safari: 11.0.1

Extensions: LastPass, Adblock Plus, Evernote Web Clipper

Macbook Pro 13" - early 2015

I had this problem on my previous Macbook Pro as well with El Capitan and an older Safari...

Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Follow Tom's suggestion.

You have a junk cyrillic font installed which maps cyrllic characters to latin. Look in Home/Library/Fonts for a font with Cyrillic in the name and remove it and restart.
