Trouble restoring from Time Capsule

I have a 2014 IMac running Sierra. Had 3T Fusion drive replaced. Trying to reStore from Time Capsule through recovery mode. Keep getting “An unexpected error occurred trying to open the backup”. (Error 112). Have backup for other devices on same Time Capsule and they work. Prior to 3T Fusion drive replacement the IMAC backupalso worked. Any idea what is happening and how to remedy?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), Safari 7.1.2

No, thanks, but unfortunately nothing in here helped me.

I have tried accessing Time Capsule backup data through Finder, but it indicates "no volumes to mount" (or something like that). I have tried Migration Assistant, and it indicates "No volumes in backup". I can access the backups of other devices also stored on this Time Capsule but not for the iMac (or, curiously, for the old iMac which was also backed up to this TC).

I know i regularly backed up, and even when i ran into the Fusion drive problem, i could even at that time see the backups. But now, no longer.

Is there some way to check what data is actually on the TC? Any other ideas?

Did you look at other sections on the Pondini site or just the trouble shooting section that I linked to? Try this from the FAQ's http://web.archive.org/web/20170609153845/http://pondini.org/TM/19.html

and here http://web.archive.org/web/20170609222652/http://pondini.org/TM/14.html

I use Time Machine and have never had a problem with it that Pondini's site couldn't solve, BUT as insurance I also keep a bootable clone on a separate drive just in case.
