DELETED PHOTOS

Hi,

I am an Iphone user for 3 years. Yesterday, after my phone encountered hang-up, i did restart it. Afterwards, I just noticed that all my photos were deleted. I hope you could help me to explain what happened. Is there a possibility to restored all of it? However, I subscribed in icloud storage and all my photos are synced to it. I can still view it at the icloud photos but still I want to make sure that since photos are deleted in my iphone, my photos in icloud photos will not be deleted.

Storage: 16GB

Version: iOS 11.1.2

PS. I can still view all photos at my ipad mini.
