Mac OS Sierra v10.12.6's Photos app's import issues...

Hello.

I have a few questions on updated Mac OS Sierra v10.12.6's Photos app's import issues:

1. When importing photos from an iPhone 6+ into Mac's Photos app, how do I have it show ONLY the new photos that have NOT been imported yet? It seems to show all of photographs on iPhone (rarely deleted off it after importing) which is confusing.

2. When importing images from downloaded image files from e-mails one file at a time (not highlighted multiple images at once), why does Photo's last import screen only show the last one image only?

Thank you in advance. 🙂

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 11.2, Verizon Wireless & mac OS Sierra

1 - that is not an option since Photos determines new by if they are in Photos or not - just scroll to the bottom and select the last photo then scroll up until you get to old photos and shift click to select all the new photos - then import selected

2 - because n Photos 2.0 each separate import is a separate import and only the last import shows - in Photos 3.0 there is no last import but an import album that shows all imports by dat (a lot like events used to be) so in the current software you can see all on the imports
