What do all the icons on itunes mean?

What do all the icons on itunes mean?

Is there a graphic or doc file that describes all the buttons, check boxes, and other icons all over the itunes interface? I can't find anything that tells me what the blue dot on the left means, the little box with the check mark?

The check in the box means the song SHOULD be copied to your iPod. Uncheck the box to keep the song in the Library but NOT copy it to your iPod.

Thanks - that explains why I have to manually drag stuff to the ipod.

Is this explained anywhere, like in an instructions page?
