I was updating my Os in macbook pro and now it is showing prohibitory sign when the mac is on after entering password and loading for a small time. My macbook model is MD101HN/A and model number is A1278.

When you see a circle with a slash symbol instead of the Apple logo, it means your Mac couldn't find a valid System Folder to start up from.
If you're using your Mac at a school or business, it might be trying to start from the wrong version of macOS. Contact your IT department for more help.
If this is your personal Mac, try reinstalling macOS using macOS recovery.
Not buggy at all for me.
Have you ever installed any third-party software that purports to clean, protect, optimize, or otherwise maintain your Mac? That's predominately the cause of problems on macOS.

Did you test the links posted?
The first goes to a description of all the symbols you can see and is titled, "About the screens you see when your Mac starts up," not the original article you think you are linking to which described a lot more about the problem. However, the current article does offer a small amount of help.
The second one just goes to the Apple Support site because it cannot find the article you tried to link (as it doesn't seem to exist anymore).
I'll not bother trying to help you update your boilerplate responses in the future.

Proof, please. Some software cause problems, but such software isn't predominantly the cause. Do you know what the predominant cause is?
Try reinstalling the OS in Recovery: About macOS Recovery - Apple Support
Hold down cmd-r on restart and it should boot into Recovery.
If not, try Internet Recovery with cmd-opt-r.
Neither of those links points to where you think they point.
Had to do this (⌘-R) Recovery HD startup & Time Machine restore from an external HD this morning. Back to 10.13.1 now. Won't be going to the buggy version of 10.13.2 any time soon.
