iphone x - click/vibrate noise in reach mode

Just noticed my X makes a click like noise and vibrate when I flick up to get out of “reach” mode (when screen pulls down to allow easier access to apps). I usually have my phone in vibrate/silent mode, and it doesn’t make the noise there. But if I’m in regular mode, swipe down for reach mode, when I flick up quickly to toggle back to normal layout, I get a noticeable click sound from bottom of phone.

Is there any issue with the phone, or is this normal?

I have the same issue, and a lot of other users do too. Got response back to just turn off the haptic feedback. It is an issue with the software and apple needs to come with a fix. Turning the feature off is not a fix. 😠
