iPhone X not syncing playlists

I'm noticing that my iPhone X is not syncing playlists or songs that I add/delete on playlists - in a timely manner.

My iPad syncs almost immediately whenever I change a song or playlist on iTunes. My iPhone 7 also synced almost immediately. So the problem seems to be with iPhone X.

I sync over iCloud. I do not plug it into my MacBook.

Obviously, I have iCloud Music checked on my iPhone and on iTunes in my MacBook. And it does seem to sync most of the time...

Are you noticing the same problems with syncing? If so, are there any fixes?
