Is that ok to use MBP 2017 with no hardshell case?

Dear Babowa,

I have been using the hardshell case because I don't want it to get scratches, dents, etc. But I noticed that it is noticeably heavier when I am travelling around! It also make my dongles (plugin not cable-based) a little bit hard to connect. I'm having quite a dilemma now

The case I got is a Speck (my MBP is a mid 2012) - that case fits well; the first one I got (a "nameless" one) did not fit that well. With the new one, I have no problem accessing any of the ports. And, yes, it makes it heavier - that needs to be your decision. In my case it does not matter since my MBP never leaves the desk as it's hooked up to an external larger monitor.
