Hi Kerry
In the channel strip, click on Audi FX, then Channel EQ.
In the channel EQ click on the small downwards arrow at the top, to the right of Factory Default, then click on VOICE, in there you will find a number of presets, and a "Bright Vocal" setting, or "Vocal Presence"which is a setting similar to what BenB mentioned.
or try the other presets, like 'Speaking Voice Improve"

Technically you can't "add" frequencies that weren't recorded. But with an EQ you can boost the high frequencies already there. I'd first start by subtracting the opposite. Pull some low frequencies down a hair, to give the high end more room to breath. Then if still necessary, boost some high frequencies. But do this in very small increments.
You can use the exciter (in "specialized") to add harmonics (high frequencies) based on the frequency content of the source material. It DOES add highs that aren't already there as opposed to boosting what is already there.
