10.13.2 update

This may be an App Store glitch.

If you have updated the system, I wouldn't worry about this.

Click  in the menu bar, and then "About This Mac".

Click the version number under macOS High Sierra.

The build number will show up in parenthesis next to it.

If the version number and build number are same as shown above, update is done.

I installed macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 Delta update yesterday.

App Store version macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 is 1.66GB in size.

Apple made macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 Combo Update available.

Try installing it.

Reindexing Macintosh HD

System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy

Click the “+” at the bottom left corner.

Finder will open. Select Macintosh HD in the sidebar.

Click “Choose” button at the bottom right corner.

Click “OK” button at the bottom right corner in the dialog box that shows up.

Click “-“ button at the left bottom corner.

Close System Preferences.

Reindexing will proceed. This may take a while.

Usually this issue is transient in nature.

Sometimes a connected external HD or partition that needs updating will cause this.

Try reindexing Spotlight .
