Are you using an actual Apple Brand USB cord... Lightneing USB. Like the Apple USB cord that you got with your device? If you use other USB cords (NON-APPLE,like a generic or cheaper brand IPhone USB cable) I’ve realized that when I use my other two cords(NON APPLE) a thing pops up saying same thing

Yes! I’m using the cord that came with the phone. I had the same problem when i was trying to sync it to iTunes and back it up when i bought the phone. I’m so confused. And aggravated. I’m about to try again, so we’ll see how it goes.
