My wife has new iPad and I'm "taking over" her old iPad2. How do I change userid and password for my use?

How to back up with iTunes
Open iTunes and connect your device to your computer.
Quesion: "Open iTuens..." On the iPad, or the Mac, or both? Does it make a difference which device (iPad or Mac) opens iTunes first?
iTunes the program is only on the computer. The iTunes Store on the iPad is an entirely different thing. This would be referring to iTunes on the Mac and your iPad can be unlocked and on on the home screen.

Go to iCloud turn off find my ipad Then go to settings down to reset Restore ipad back to factory settings
Then ipad is ready for new user.
