No iTunes app on iPad

iTunes app and contacts app disappeared, I was able to download a new contacts app but lost all contacts and I can’t find the iTunes app at the App Store, restrictions are off and I’ve reset the apps a few times, any suggestions?

There is no direct iTunes app on an iPad.

It's either the Store:

User uploaded file

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/itunes-store/id915061235?mt=8

Or the Music App.

Either one should be in the App Store for download.

Click the links under each icon directly on the iPad, to open the App Store to their respective entries, so you can download them:

There's never been an iTunes App on an iPad like there is on a desktop. So no change to be notified about or mentioned.

iCloud is a collection of services, one of which is iCloud Music Library. If you are subscribed to either Apple Music or iTunes Match, then your music may be in the iCloud Music Library.

If you want to have Music available when you don't have internet access, make sure all your music is synced from iTunes on a computer or downloaded onto the device from the iCloud Music Library if you are using it.

Ah, thanks Phil, that would explain why I couldn’t find it at the app store. It would be nice if Apple had a cross reference site to show changes/updates and relocations. I have a nice big book from the National Fire Protection Agency called the National Electrical Code and it gets updated with all the Code changes every four years.
