Apple heart study app

Downloaded the Apple Heart Study app. Got a message on the watch to go to the Apple Heart Study app on iphone to get started. Iphone app says that I have been registered and to turn on notifications to receive a notification when they are ready for me to participate but notifications are already on. "Notification Requested" appears at the bottom of the iPhone screen. What happens next? Cannot find information on this anywhere. Thanks for any help.
