Can't copy mp4 iMovie to USB flash drive

Even after installing latest High Sierra patch (10.13.2) 2.5 gig mp4 video made with iMovie won't copy to 4 gig USB thumb drive. I was under the impression this latest update was going to fix the problem . . . still needs some work apparently.

That was suggest earlier, when I first discovered the problem before 10.13.2 and it made my thumb drive unrecognizable to and unusable by my computer. After the 10.13.2 install it was still unrecognizable but now I was able to reformat it to Fat32 so I could use it to store other files, but it still won't load my 2.5 gig mp4 iMovie, or any other mp4 iMovie. I'm afraid to try reformat it to ExFat again while it's at least partially useful.

Not sure where you got that impression but the Finder still "thinks" the file size limit for FAT32 is 2GB.
