iTunes Error Message after latest update

After the latest iTunes update, I am now receiving the following error message when I open iTunes:

"You do not have enough access privileges for this operation."

I never had any problems with iTunes before the update. I tried changing the Read/Write privileges on the iTunes file, In iTunes advanced preferences, I reset the Warnings, Cache & Identifier. So far, nothing helps. I read an online article that suggested using root to change privileges but haven't tried that yet.

Anyone else having this issue?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Well, I fixed the issue. I logged into my admin account, deleted iTunes and reinstalled. That cleared the error. Works great now!! Must have just been a hiccup in the download or install process.
