iTunes 12.7.2.58 skipping songs

This did not work for me. I still have this problem on my MAC. Apple music works fine on my iphone.

What if it is not iTunes downloaded or iCloud music yet, simply music from CDs you ripped?

this does not work on ipad

1. Go to Account and Authorize your computer again.

OR

2. Go to View My Account. Deauthorize all your computers if you have more than one and authorize it again. This fixed the problem for me.

Had this issue on my iPhone 8.

Have just deleted the app and turned my phone off. Rebooted my phone, re loaded the music app and re signed in.

Issue resolved itself.

This did not solve the problem for me. I authorized, restarted iTunes, and the songs still skip.

I've tried reauthorizing and logging back in several times and it still does it.
