Pages docs on iPad without internet access

I work on Pages interchangeably between my Mac and my iPad. My docs are always on my iMac whether I am on line or not, but not if off line on my iPad -- big problem for me. I need access to the docs when off line. Any way to keep them on the iPad as well?
