My iPhone 6 would repeatedly shut off at random times even with a full battery. I upgraded to the iPhone 7, and it began to do the same thing. How do I fix this?

I had an iPhone 6 for about a year and it worked fine until near the end of my contract. It began to start shutting off after using it for about a minute. It would shut off and then turn back on even with a full battery. I tried hard resetting it. I upgraded to an iPhone 7 and not even an hour after getting the new phone it began to do the same thing. I also tried hard resetting this phone. How do I fix this?
