text picture issues

Ever since the update when I try to send a picture through text message a cloud is beside every picture. Also how can you fix the text app? Right now when I try to text someone if I start typing there name instead of just that person's name just popping up it lists every group chat that person has been in & I have to search for that person's name to text them. Is this happening to everyone with the new update I didn't have this issues until then. Also I still have plenty of memory on my phone I haven't even used half of the memory yet.
