My IPad seems to restart each time I use an app

when I try to open an app, my IPad seems to restart. the screen goes black and comes back to the enter passxode screen. what can I do

This is a recent issue.

Update to 11.2 software and make sure all apps are up to date:

Hi

What model ipad have you got does it have the latest ios software.

Try a reboot press the power button down &menu button hold both down until you see apple logo this can take 30 seconds.
