High Sierra, JVC Everio suddenly won't import

Hi,

Updated to High Sierra. The first thing I noticed is "Photos" won't recognize my Everio GZ-EX2 like it use to, I use to trim videos there first before iMovie. So I went to importing in iMovie which seemed to work ok for a couple of weeks, today all it seems to do is try to connect the circle arrow just spins but never works. I restarted, tried reconnecting several different ways. How did it work before and suddenly not now? I looked at the list of supported cameras and mine was not on it. I got to say, this stinks. A new OS and suddenly you have to go buy new gear. 😠
