Macbook Pro (2017) keyboard not fully illuminated.

Recently I decided to by myself a MacBook Pro and finally went for a refurbished 13-inch MacBook Pro with the Touch Bar from 2017.

After opening the MacBook and booting it up I first of all noticed that the characters above the number row weren't fully illuminated and had (and still do so as for the time I am writing this) really yellow tint to it.

I know that the keys on the keyboard are usually not equally illuminated compared to each other, but these keys (reaching from the ^ to the ´) are especially bad, including each of the option keys, the Delete/Remove button and the Caps Lock key. As for the Command key I know that its corners can and mostly will be less bright than the centre, as it usually is the case, but as I mentioned earlier, for the keys I listed above seem to be especially terrible.

A colleague of mine has the very basic 13-inch MCP from 2016 which I used for a few comparisons and indeed his keys are noticeably better illuminated.

Are some of you experiencing the same and is there maybe something that I can do (except for visiting an Apple Store as the only thing we have is a Gravis Store that usually isn't opened except for weekends at this time of the year)?

I am very thankful for any help or suggestions concerning this topic.
