Hi DanH791!

Thanks for following up with us. It sounds like you are deleting the songs from the library rather than deleting them from the device. On the Summary pane of iTunes, you can also check the box that says "Sync only checked items”, then uncheck any songs that you don't want to sync in iTunes.

Hello Brenden,

That's helpful info. If I use this method to delete songs from the IPOD, it says "delete from library". I want to keep the song in my iTunes library, but delete it from the IPOD. Is that possible?
