How do I recycle iPhone 4S?

How do I recycle iPhone 4S?

I know iPhone 4S does not qualify for the Recycle Program. Do I just dump it in a Recycle Bin for Electronics or is there some place I can recycle safely? Same with a iMac that's worth nothing now.

You can recycle through the following even if it has no value: Renew and Recycling - Apple

Another option would be to do an internet search for electronics recycling in your city to see if there is a local option.

You can simply drop it off at an Apple store for proper recycling. Many other consumer electronics stores also have recycle drop off bins (BestBuy and others).

Click on "Apple TV, iPod, or older device" in Renew and Recycling - Apple

It is to the far right from where the "iPhone 5 and newer" link is.

I tried but I couldn't because my phone wasn't displayed online. I tried to add it but there was no place to add it. Oh well, I'll have to find somewhere near us to recycle. Thank you.
