How do I get rid of the 3 x 4 pop-box with every email I open?

Mac mini, iOS 10.3.2

Thanks for your reply. As luck has it with a Dr apt for an issue or a computer issue…

when it comes time to discuss it…it has disappeared !! If it happens again I will give a screen shot and email you.
