how do i get app store credit to another account

I got sent a gift of 15 dollars by email and I redeemed it but when I tried to purchase something for a game I played it said that I downloaded the game on another account. So I tried to send the 15 dollars I have on my store as credit to another account but it won’t let me I do I get the store credit from the account I have it on to different account.
