Issues encountered after installing iTunes version 12.7.2

I installed the new version of iTunes yesterday and I've run into problems that I've not exprienced before at all.

So I play music from my mac with Apple Music and I don't have any of the albums actually downloaded on it. Whenever I try playing an album, iTunes just keeps skipping through the songs until it reaches the end of the album where it gives up. I can't play a single song.

My wifi is not the problem as I have already reset it a few times. My computer has been acting very strange though in every department. It keeps freezing, over-heating and randomly opening applications. I can deal with those issues, but when my music is affected.....😠
