Restore of backup from TC very slow?

I have nearly 200GB of backup on TC and just erased my Mac. Now after installing New Mac OS and while restoring backup, it say it will take 36hrs to restore the backup. Is this normal and does the restore of backup form TC happen so slow? Did anyone tried restoring backup from time TC?

If the Mac is connected to the Time Capsule using an Ethernet connection, then you can expect about 30 GB per hour....on average...to transfer over. So, a 200 GB transfer is going to take about 6-8 hours.

All bets are off if you are using wireless to restore the Mac, but WiFi....on average....is going to be 4-6 times or more slower than Ethernet. So, roughly 24-40 hours would be in the normal range using wireless.
