I enabled my screen recording in Settings already, but it’s greyed out and only does the triple pulse when pressed on. What do?

My screen record fails to work, I cannot find any help online, and it seems I am the only person with this problem. Help!

Is your device up to date? If so, then make a backup, and restore your device and set up as new to test it. If resolved, then you have a corrupt installation of iOS. If unresolved, then you should contact Apple support for further assistance.
