Compatibility HP Scanjet 6300c

Just installed my iMac 24". Works like a charm. Being a former Windows XP user who switched to Linux and now to Apple, I'm trying to get my Scanjet 6300c to work. On the HP support site I found some info about not being supported or discontinued.

Running Mac OS X Tiger, what would be the right place to find the correct and supported driver/software?

Any hint/leads are much appreciated!
