how to connect Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3?

I have a mid 2012 Macbook pro with a Thunderbolt 2 port.

What connector(s) do I need to connect it to a Thunderbolt 3 port on my 2017 iMac?

Or should I go USB 2 to USB 3?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS High Sierra (10.13.2)
