My MacBook Pro intermittently loses the internet connection. The menu bar shows connection. At the same time my iPad Pro has no trouble connecting.

M MacBook Pro intermittently loses the internet connection. The menu bar show full bars. At the same time my iPad is able to connect withou a problem.

MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

Thanks so much for the reference. Unfortunately it didn't help. I lose the internet connection a few times each day and can't correlate the dropout to anything.

I did discover that Option-clicking on the Wireless symbol on the menu bar allows some insight but that insight hasn't fixed the problem.

The symptoms persist.
