Would anyone know why song lyrics won’t show in the Music app on iPhone using iOS 11? Either syncing manually or automatically, tried a number of times, never appears. It baffles me. Any helpful tips would be very welcome.
Rumour has it Apple removed it from iOS again, not sure if it was on purpose or another bug. They have never been able to keep them working reliably since they first added them to an iPod years ago.

Lyrics are no longer found in the "Up Next/Now Playing" slide up view. Now you need to use 3D Touch or a long press on the song title in the Library view.
Hope they bring it back to the Up Next/Now Playing view, I liked it there and the lyrics would change when the song did too.
I have more success finding lyrics for purchased music this way than for music that I’ve digitized myself for which I’ve added lyrics manually, however, not even this assertion is completely reliable.
