Question: macOS High Sierra 10.13 dramatically slow down

after upgrading to macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 sytemdramatically slow down. Finder very often is not responding and is very slow. UserEvenAgent takes 98,9% of CPU.

MacBook Pro, early 2011, 2,3GHz Intel Core i5, Macintosh SSD 500GB, 8 GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM, Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB.

In the meantime, I have just noticed the 10.13.2 release and this also solved the problem. Now it works very fast. :-)

While Finder is crashing I'm still able to use CC and Outlook - just not able to anything in Finder (copy files, re name files or re name folders) - quite big issue for me. Don't really know how to fix it.

Thanks dominic23, that didn't help - my MAC crashed again today - I'm working on two machines now - on MAC as usual but doing all Finder things on my PC (changing the name of the files or copy files from one to another folder..).


I've tried few things already - resetting premisions, re-building my mac as well - so there is no sense to backup my MAC...
