Song available on my iPad but not on my laptop

I would like to buy a specific Christmas carol/song in a choral version. When I tried to find it on my iPad there were several versions which I was given the chance to download and listen to free for three months or something similar but when I looked for the number in the iTunes store on my laptop there were only four versions by single artists, none of which I am interested in. Why aren't the choral versions available to buy and keep on my laptop?

All content is only available where the content providers make it available. Assuming that you are referring to Apple Music it's possible that the rights-holder has granted Apple a license to have it there, but they aren't allowing Apple to put it in your country's iTunes Store for purchase.

Thank you, I did wonder if it might be something like that but it seemed odd that several choral versions (3 or 4) were available on the iPad and not one them available to buy to download onto my computers.
