Is there a way to edit the series name within iBooks (mac or ios)

I have a number of books that are part of a series, such as the ones from raymond feist and from ra salvatore and they don’t get grouped like others. I tried editing in iBooks on Mac but it does not let me edit the field. Is there a way this can be edited or populated? As it would make sorting and searching much easier
