iMessages on both iPhone and iPad stopped syncing

i used to see my iMessages on both iPhone and iPad. Now i no longer receive them on the iPad. It’s been 2 weeks. I’ve upgraded to an iPhone X now, and the issue continues. What gives?

OK! It is fixed now... My new phone did not have me signed in with my Apple ID. After I set up Apple ID text messages starting to sync.

I cannot tell you what the story was with my old phone, since I already sent it back. I should have been logged in with my Apple ID, but there’s no way to tell now.

I understand you have been able to use the Messages app on your new iPhone X, but you have not been able to use the app on your iPad. Can you provide us with a little more information about your iPad? What model is it? What version of iOS? Are you signed in with the same Apple ID on both devices? What happens when you try to use the Messages app on your iPad?
