Files on iOS 11 doesn’t work on iPad for iCloud drive

I am still struggling with a lot of bugs in iOS11. The latest is that Files does not properly index iCloud Drive. I am on an iPad Pro 10.1 and whenever I open files and try to access iCloud I get random results. Sometimes, it’s stuck in a folder but doesn’t show files. Sometimes it shows a partial list of folders. Sometimes it shows folders that are not empty but can’t pull the files up in them... etc. It works perfectly on my iPhone 7.

Is there a way to force an index (restarting the iPad does not resolve the issue)? Is this something that is going to be addressed soon? Trying to use my iPad as a computer and generally happy (aka the commercials), but if I can’t access my files, this will be a very short experiment.

Good afternoon dan55667788,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand you are having some trouble seeing all of the documents in the Files app on your iPad. The best way to reinitialize everything is to turn off your iPad and iPhone and recycle the power to your modem/router to reinitialize the connection to the internet. The information that you see for iCloud Drive on your iPad should be identical to what is on the www.icloud.com site.
The resource below will help you with issues specific to iCloud Drive

The Files app allows you to move content around to different folders on iCloud Drive, or to the internal storage of your iPad. Take a look at the resource below to get a better understanding of its features.

Use the Files app on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Take care.
