How can i reset my password for my iPhone, when asking “enter the passcode to use to unlock the iPhone. This passcode protects your Apple ID, saved passwords, and other data stored in ICloud.

If you have forgotten your passcode you need to restore iPhone using your pc make sure pc is running the latest iTunes 12.7.2
If you have forgotten your password go to iforgot.apple.com
