notifications

Whenever i get a notification from messenger when i’m using my phone, you know how it pops up as a bar across the top of the screen? when i drag the bar down and get the reply screen, i type in what i want to say and press send (pretty straightforward right, but bare with me) The message WILL NOT actually send until i come off of what i’m currently on and go into the conversation on the messenger app. The bar goes away after i’ve responded so I think that it’s worked but then the message either doesn’t send at all or doesn’t send until i go into the app and it’s very annoying
