Has anyone experienced no access to internet even thou there’s wifi signal and access

I’ve experienced it with issues like hotel wifi. Safari sometimes has a bad habit of not being able to bring up the ‘agree to our terms’ page.

In that case using a different browser can be a work around.

Other times rebooting hte ipad or router can reset things.

It has happened to me on two previous iPads And this one. My recollection is each occurrance was while trying to use a cellular connection. The Genius bar, unable to figure it out, just handed me a new Pad (sometimes paying the additional warranty fee pays off). But I digress.

When it happened on this one I recall utilizing the “Personal Hotspot”. Additionally, I may have had to invoke another choice. All of this took place a few years ago, thus my uncertainty. Anyway, after that, I had no problem accessing the web via cellular.

Here’s another idea: Have you selected “Allow Safari“ and other apps to run via cellular connection? It may be worth checking. BTW, after getting the cellular connection to work, the “Personal Hotspot” was deactivated without issue.

Maybe I shouldn’t have assumed your iPad Can utilize both WiFi and Cellular. It appears yours has access only to WiFi. Can anyone else at your location access the net with Safari or another Apple app?

Do you really think Firefox will make a difference for WiFi access? The question is not intended as pejorative, I’m genuinely curious.

Your resort may have a tech support number. I know sometimes at hotels I have to renew my connection every day and reagree to the terms. It's possible that they have some sort of limit programmed in.
