Question: Apple TV 4 Issues after Software Update


After a software update...which plonked TV App, ITV Hub and My5 on my Apple TV 4. I have been unable to connect to my itunes library.

I am also unable to connect/pair with any of the family devices via the apple tv remote app. It goes through the motions but it just doesn't appear on the app!!

I have done the whole series of off/on, delete reload, even home-sharing off and back on...and router off and on restarting my mac, our iphone/s, ipad and apple tv.



iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), iOS 10.3.3

Hi D,

tvOS 11.2 (15k106)

All features were working before.

No changes to network.

That is the frustration as no changes made other that the software updated.

I store all movies on an external drive and I thought for some reason this may have been the issue.

All software on Mac, iPad, my iPhone and my partners iPhone are all up to date.
