I am attempting to reset up my iMessaging from my Mac to connect to my iPhone. I connected my iCloud to both and have set up everything in messaging. The final step is text message forwarding, which I cannot find under messaging or when I search my iPhone. I curently have an iPhone 7.

I believe if you enable Messages on all your other devices and you are logged in to the same Apple ID after a short while you should see Text Message Forwarding appear as below.
You then go into it and select those devices by using the relevant toggle which should display a confirmation box that you need to acknowledge.
