Thanks again. I upgraded to High Sierra from Mountain Lion 8.5 and this was the only upgrade available from the App Store ,along with some other updates. Where do I get the Combo ? I thought that all was included in the latest upgrade.

I'm not exactly a computer guy, just a musician. Having some sound every now and then wouldn't hurt.

Hi.

Pretty much all audio. For example ,when audio freezes on Youtube it freezes I tunes and Logic and vice versa.Restart fixes it only temporarily. Today I tunes froze after 3 minutes of playback without being connected to the internet. When the sound is frozen I don't even open the Logic .Last time I did it had to be Force-quit. Logic is more stable ,but unpredictable. Today it played for18 minutes then I turned it off. Things are pretty much the same before and after the Combo update . I had no problems like this in Mountain Lion 8.5 and Logic X.

As far as the gear goes,I'm using Apogee Duet ,LogicProX 10.3.2 ,that's it .

Thanks again

Hi and thanks. Seems like a nice little app ( if in right hands)

I did few EtreCheck scans ( specifying my problem ,then other reasons) Here are some observations.

Diagnostic report; performance good or excellent.

System Launch Agents not loaded 8 apple tasks

System Launch Daemons not loaded 36 apple tasks

Plenty of crash reports in the Console since I upgraded.

Deleted Library/Launch Daemons/ com.apple serverd.plist through the EtreCheck. Which brings me to the Server app.

I didn't purchase the recent one and deleted the old one in order to High Sierra download.I never used it's features. Got the idea somewhere in Apple chat. Could that be the issue?

Otherwise I don't know what to look . Any thoughts?

Good work, I knew that you could do it. Your report looks good, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, it does not help us with the Audio problem.

I would disconnect the USB Apogee Duet and test the Mac Mini with some different types of devices, to see if the audio craps out using other devices.

for some example's:

a set of headphones or buds in the audio output port

a set of bluetooth headphones or speakers

a different USB audio device

Thank you very much.

I disconnected USB Duet and plugged in my headphones. I tried to sweat the apps by changing tracks ,tunes and videos. Not a single pop or crash. Youtube worked fine for 30 min and I turned it off.

Seems that Duet is the problem . Since it's a rather pricey device to put on the curb on Thursday ,do you have any suggestions . Perhaps more memory. I have only 4 gigs.
