My iPhone X is not connecting to the internet

Sometimes it does, sometimes it does not. I have ATT and software is updated. Phone is new. I was just in a place where the cell was at 3 bars and there was WiFi in the building, but in neither case could I connect to the internet. On Mail, on Safari, trying to get on Dropbox etc. I turned off the WiFi and the cell system didn't connect otherwise = I have been in that location before with no problems getting on WiFi. Of course, now that I am back home there's no wifi problem at all.

Victoria, I would try this troubleshooting:

Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings (you'll loose all your wifi passwords, but nothing else).

After you've done the procedure, restart your iPhone.

Try to connect to Internet without using Wifi. Then try to connect to internet via Wifi. Test.

If you still can't connect without using wifi, I think that you should contact your carrier (possibly talking to a chief technician) and explain your problem.

Please keep me informed.

Regards

Giulio
