Mixing wired speakers and HomePod -- latency?

Most of the first floor of my house has multiroom wired speakers (powered speakers with sound distributed by line-level i.e. 3/8" jack type wiring, with anti-hum conditioning), all sourced at a Windows PC playing iTunes (or sometimes other sources including Napster, Amazon, and general websites). Obviously, that means the sound input in all those rooms is synchronized to the source, with no latency. The upstairs and one first-floor room aren't on that system, mainly because there's no easy way to run wiring there. Am thinking about buying a HomePod when they ship early next year, which would be transported around the un-wired rooms as needed to add sound there, with signal distributed to it via Airplay 2. Will sound output from the HomePod be synchronized with sound output from the wired speakers?

iPhone 7, Windows 10
