Iphone SE unable to unlock it with fingerprint

Hello there,

I am fresh owner of a brand new SE and not able to figure out if this phone supports unlocking by using only the fingerprint. What I am talking about is get to the home screen from a locked state only by touching the home button with my finger.

I will give you a few clues as to what I have in my settings and what I have tried:

Fingerprint is added.

Use it to unlock the phone is checked.

Rest to open is checked.

IOS Version is 11.0.3

Have to tell I will be really disapointed if such feature currently present even on cheapest smartphones in the world would by design miss from my phone.

Please reassure me I have not bought the false smartphone.
